The story of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” is written by Truman Capote Truman Capote is about a relationship of a young writer with his charming neighbor named Holly Golightly in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
One late summer night, Holly rings her neighbor to let her into his building because she loses the key. He is intrigued in the first sight. He starts observing his mystery neighbor. She often feeds the nameless cat or playing country song by her guitar.
Because some reason, they become friend. After he shares the exciting news that his first short story has been published, they were going outside to celebrate. They share all the stories of their childhood, but he notices that Holly’s story is a fabrication. He wants to know why she cried in the middle of the sleep, is this reason having the connection with his childhood?
One day, Holly receive a telegram inform her brother’s death. After few month, she transform into a domestic homebody. She taught her neighbor that she expects to marry with Jose and move to Brazil. He is despondent because he has to learn that Holly is going to leave for Brazil.
She invites him to Central Park to ride the horse, they are enjoying their time. When they back to his apartment, there are to policeman waiting to arrest the Holly. They charge Holly of conspiracy with Sally Tomato and O’Shaughnessy. The arrest is publicized in all the major papers, everyone knows include her Jose. He tell Holly that he is unwilling to continue their relationship. He only use a letter, he doesn’t even come to see her.
She is upset and sadden, she ask her neighbor to aid her escape. He collects few Holly’s belonging, and accompany with Holly on the drive. She asks the driver stop and leaves her cat on the street; I guess she want to like the cat, “to be free”. In the end, he found the cat, but he never hears from Molly again.
